Thank you so much for helping Jesse finish up second grade reading chapter books independently. He really struggled in reading last year and was beginning to lose confidence when you took him under your wing. I'm convinced that your patience and confidence in Jesse's abilities led to his ultimate success in moving ahead. The way your lesson plans integrated reading with subjects our son is more comfortable with, such as science and math, made a huge difference.
We know that Jesse can be a little shy at times, but you never gave up. Now he tells us that he's eager to be called upon to read aloud to the class.
