Now that my husband has passed on, I know I won't be seeing you much. Therefore, I wanted to thank you, on behalf of both me and Jim, for the wonderful care you provided for the last six months.
ALS was difficult for Jim and it was so hard for me to watch the strong, capable man I loved lose function in his limbs. You became a source of strength for both of us. Your encouragement and kindness were always welcome and appreciated and never felt patronizing or belittling.
You really transformed Jim's last months into a positive experience for both of us. I know that he was grateful for all the hard work you did. It meant the world for me to know that he got the care he needed. Thank you.
