I was so shocked when Jim called my name for the Volunteer of the Year Award! What an incredible honor.
That part of the annual dinner is a bit of a blur, so I wanted to be sure to personally send my thanks to you and the other members of the executive board. Of course, none of us do it for the glory, but it means a lot to have tangible proof that my efforts are appreciated!
Speaking of which, the engraved vase is gorgeous. I have already placed it in my entryway. Every time I see it I smile. I am so looking forward to continuing to serve the nonprofit.
