There is really no excuse for Ray and I taking so long to tell you how much we love the quilt you sent as our wedding gift. You are so kind and gracious; I hope you will forgive us and agree that "it's never too late."
Please don't take our tardiness as a reflection of our feelings about the quilt. It is just gorgeous, and in fact we bought a quilt rack so we could display it in the master bedroom. I hope that you'll be able to visit soon and see how well it completes the room.
