I just wanted to drop you a note saying thanks for throwing my birthday party this year. I know it was over a month ago, but things have been really busy around the house with Johnny's graduation and the death of Jim's grandmother. I just wanted to make sure you know how much I appreciated your thoughtful gesture. It really added some light to this dark time.
